GT5 2009 Pagani Zonda R

What a car today - the 2009 Pagani Zonda R in my GT5 pictures.

Pictured here at the GT photo travel location called Ahrweiler - Street, somewhere in Germany, I believe.

Zonda is actually the name of an Argentinian pampas wind which is apparently fast.

Inspired by fighter-plane materials technology, Pagani set out some decades ago to build exclusive cars out of carbon-fibre composite.

Way I (don't) understand it, this 2009 Pagani Zonda R is based on the 2007 Pagani Zonda track car. There was a very limited road car version based on the same called the Pagani Zonda Cinque, only five units. But the Zonda marque was first started at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show.

This is not just carbon fiber but carbon-titanium fiber.

GT5 2008 Fiat 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS

Here is a 2008 Fiat 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS for today in GT5 pictures.

In Bossa Nova White, it is found here at Ahrweiler - Street, one of those photo travel locations in GT5.

The 2007 Fiat 500, on which the pictured version is based, is the third generation of the Fiat 500 but there was a huge gap between the 2nd generation (1957-75) and the reborn (2007) 3rd generation - the gap of 1975-2007.

As pictured, the 2008 Fiat 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS is a sportier and more upscale version of the base car, and SS stands for something sporty and not for Schutzstaff... whatever.

And the steering wheel is again on the wrong side, although there probably were right-hand drive versions but they were hardly definitive.

It didn't make much of an impact sales-wise here in Russia as it was seen as too expensive. 

I have seen only one or two or three of these since 2007.

GT5 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4

A 2008 Lambrghini Gallardo LP 560-4 super car.

The Gallardo is a smaller Lamborghini, the "baby Lamborghini".

It is seen here in Nero Noctis at Ahrweiler - Street. However black is not the best color to shoot cars in GT, I think.

The Gallardo debuted as recently as in 2003.
