Gran Turismo 5 Indy - NASCAR Pit Stop

Here are some pictures of Indy - NASCAR Pit Stop, a photo travel location in Gran Turismo 5.

Various goings on at pit stops.

Here's the 2011 Brian Vickers No. 83 Red Bull Toyota Camry.

And here's the 2010 Jimmie Johnson No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet Impala.

Jimmie Johnson, who has been the Sprint Cup champion five years running since 2006, drives this blue and white Lowe's color Chevrolet Impala, number 48.
Since his debut in the premier NASCAR series in 2002, he has won 47 races in this number 48 car. A combination of the most powerful driver and machine, he is the face of NASCAR in the 21st century.
In stock car racing, the ability of the crew chief who is the brains of the team also plays a major role in the race, from the setting of the machine, the strategy during the race, and the positioning of the staff and more. For car number 48, Chad Knaus is always there, and he is well known to be one of the best crew chiefs in NASCAR. His ability to constantly produce the fastest machine in high-speed ovals, short ovals and restrictor plate races in ultra-high-speed ovals, is immense. With the combination of Johnson's driving skill and Knaus's uncanny ability to set up the machine, there is a powerful force pushing Johnson towards the champion spot.
The team owner of Johnson's car, number 48, is, of course, Jeff Gordon, of the same Hendrick Motorsports family. It was Gordon who recognized the skills of Johnson, who was formerly off-road racing - which is a rare background for a NASCAR driver. Gordon was the one who suggested Johnson's entry into the team. In 2007, Johnson this favor to Gordon through a historic battle for the title with his mentor, and in 2010 he engraved his name forever into the annals of racing history by achieving five series championship titles in a row for the first time ever in NASCAR

2011 Tony Stewart No.14 Office Depot Chevrolet Impala 2011

Never afraid to speak his mind (and certainly not afraid of swapping paint with his opponents' race cars at high speed), Tony Stewart is as entertaining away from the racetrack as he is on it. On the track, he is the real deal, winning the series championship at NASCAR's premier level three times.
Being one of only 15 drivers who have ever been crowned champion at least twice in NASCAR, which is America's top-tier stock-car race series and among the four most popular sports in America (the others being football, baseball and basketball), Stewart also has a major open-wheel championship title under his belt in the 1997 Indy Racing League (IRL). In the year prior to winning the IRL title, the Indiana native was named Rookie of the Year for both the 1996 Indy Racing League season and that year's Indianapolis 500.
Stewart made the move from the sleek and ultra-fast Indy cars to the challenge of the thunderous stock cars of NASCAR in 1999 and was named Winston Cup Rookie of the Year. He was named Sprint Cup champion in both the 2002 (Winston Cup) and 2005 (Nextel Cup) seasons and won the prestigious Allstate Brickyard 400 races in 2005 and 2007, held at his favorite venue, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In 2009, Stewart became an owner/driver when he started a NASCAR team together with Haas Racing and in 2010 finished 7th in the Sprint Cup championship thanks to finishing in the top five in 9 races that year. Although his driving style may not be as aggressive as it was before, his signature bad boy attitude is still intact. It's had not to notice Tony Stewart, who backs up his bravado with rock solid driving performances.
