GT5 1968 Fiat 500 F

Last time I wrote on this blog we had this modern Fiat 500 and now here is the original Fiat 500 - a GT5 1968 Fiat 500 F.

Pictured in Avorio Antico, it has made it all the way to Japan and is now parked at Kyoto - Shoren-in.

The original Fiat is also known as the Nuova 500 and was designed by Dante Giacosa. 

It is called "Nuova" because it was not created completely from scratch but was based in some ways on the 1936 Topolino.

Produced in several modifications from 1956 until 1975. Resurrected again in 2007.

 Engine: air-cooled, rear-mounted, rear-wheel drive.

Performance: top speed of 95 km/h.

GT5 1991 Acura NSX

And now, in Formula Red, is a 1991 Acura NSX.

It is seen here in Kyoto some place, both day and night.

 The 1991 Acura NSX (same as Honda NSX) is Honda's ultimate road-going sports car.

 The 1991 Acura NSX is a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive coupe.

The Acura's driver compartment was apparently modelled on the F-16 jet fighter's cockpit in some ways.

Also, pre-production models were tested by Formula 1 drivers the late Ayrton Senna and Satoru Nakajima whose recommendations may have resulted in certain modifications.
